Lead Teacher
Whitney Campus | Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County
Full-Time (36–40 hrs/week) | $22.50–$23.87 DOE/DOQ (+$1.00/hour Anacortes location differential)
Some of the most important learning happens long before children realize they're learning.
It's in the first steps toward independence, the excitement of discovering something new, and the comfort of knowing a trusted adult is nearby. At Whitney Campus, we're looking for a Lead Teacher who can turn those everyday moments into opportunities for infants and toddlers to feel safe, confident, and curious.
As the Lead Teacher in our Infant & Toddler Program, you'll create a nurturing classroom where children can explore, play, and develop at their own pace. You'll plan engaging, age-appropriate experiences, build consistent routines, guide an Assistant Teacher, and develop strong partnerships with families.
We're looking for someone who brings patience, warmth, and enthusiasm into the classroom each day. Someone who understands that progress looks different for every child and finds joy in the small victories-a new word, a growing friendship, a favorite song, or the confidence to try something independently.
You'll also help create an environment where children feel known and supported. That means offering comfort when it's needed, encouraging curiosity, celebrating milestones, and making plenty of room for laughter and play along the way.
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County, you'll be part of a supportive team that values Fun, Respect, Integrity, Community, and Acceptance. We provide ongoing professional development, paid training when needed, and opportunities to continue growing as an early learning professional.
If you're ready to lead a classroom where our youngest learners can build trust, discover their abilities, and develop a strong foundation for what's ahead, we'd love to meet you.
