NOW HIRING: TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Department: Human Resources – Talent Acquisition

Location: On-site only | 531 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA 19518 (No remote work available)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00AM–4:30PM | Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary based on recruiting experience, sourcing capability, interviewing expertise, technical recruiting exposure, and market data

Help Us Build the Team That Makes It Possible.

Behind every engineer who designs our equipment, every skilled trades professional who builds it, and every technician who supports our customers is a hiring process responsible for finding the right people to help our organization grow.

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who wants to own that responsibility.

This is a full-cycle recruiting role for someone who can manage requisitions independently, build credibility with Hiring Managers, conduct meaningful interviews, develop sourcing strategies, evaluate candidates objectively, and keep hiring processes moving without waiting to be managed through every step.

You'll recruit across a diverse organization that includes skilled trades, engineering, manufacturing, field service, sales, and professional support functions.

You'll help build the workforce behind ACECO's continued growth, and you'll have some fun while doing it.

What This Role Really Is

This is an end-to-end Talent Acquisition role with real ownership.

You'll manage assigned requisitions from intake through accepted offer while serving as the primary recruiting partner for candidates and Hiring Managers.

That means understanding what the business actually needs, developing the recruiting strategy, sourcing talent, conducting structured interviews, evaluating technical and behavioral alignment, presenting evidence-based hiring recommendations, coordinating next steps, supporting offer decisions, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process.

We aren't looking for someone who simply schedules interviews and sends resumes to Hiring Managers.

We want a recruiter who develops an informed point of view and can confidently answer: Should we hire this person...and why?

Who Thrives Here — and Who Doesn't

You'll do well here if you take ownership of your requisitions, communicate before someone has to ask for an update, and genuinely enjoy learning unfamiliar jobs.

You should be comfortable recruiting a welder in the morning, discussing an engineering search in the afternoon, and developing a sourcing strategy for a difficult-to-find field technician before the day is over.

Strong Talent Acquisition Specialists at ACECO are curious, organized, responsive, comfortable asking follow-up questions, and willing to respectfully challenge assumptions when the evidence suggests a different hiring decision.

This role is likely not a fit if you prefer transactional recruiting, depend primarily on inbound applicants, hesitate to give Hiring Managers your professional recommendation, dislike documentation and process discipline, or need constant direction to keep requisitions moving.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

During your first 30 days, you'll learn ACECO's business, recruiting process, ATS, employment brand, hiring standards, interview methodology, compliance requirements, and the types of positions we recruit. You'll begin building relationships with Hiring Managers and observing interviews and recruiting workflows.

During days 31–60, you'll begin independently managing assigned requisitions, conducting structured interviews, developing sourcing strategies, presenting candidate recommendations, and maintaining proactive communication with candidates and Hiring Managers.

By days 61–90, you should be confidently managing your recruiting portfolio, identifying hiring risks before they become bottlenecks, building candidate pipelines, providing evidence-based recommendations, and operating as a trusted recruiting partner rather than simply a process administrator.

Why Join the ACECO Talent Acquisition Team?

Recruit Across the Entire Business

You'll recruit skilled trades, engineers, field service technicians, operational professionals, and other critical positions across a custom manufacturing organization.

Learn the Business, Not Just the Requisition

Our recruiters are expected to understand the work they're recruiting for. That means spending time with Hiring Managers, learning departments, understanding technical requirements, and occasionally getting out onto the manufacturing floor.

Have a Voice in Hiring Decisions

We expect our recruiters to develop professional judgment and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations—not simply forward candidates to Hiring Managers.

Build Difficult Talent Pipelines

Some of our most important positions aren't easy to find. You'll develop sourcing expertise for specialized skilled trades, engineering, technical service, and other difficult-to-fill talent markets.

Develop as a Talent Acquisition Professional

You'll participate in recruiter calibration, interview observations, coaching, sourcing strategy discussions, process improvement, and continued professional development.

Make a Visible Impact and Enjoy Coming to Work

Recruiting directly supports ACECO's workforce growth. Your ability to identify and attract the right talent affects production capability, engineering capacity, customer service, and long-term organizational success.

  • Monitor requisition aging, recruiting activity, and pipeline health
