Responsibilities:
- Manage the tax department, overseeing over 1000 EZ returns for individual clients
- Review returns for accuracy and ensure they are filed in a timely manner
- Support tax team members with advice and guidance to ensure tax returns are prepared and filed accurately, on time, and maintaining compliance
- Have a thorough understanding of state and federal tax laws
- Provide insight and advice to clients ensuring they understand their tax obligations and explaining the outcomes
- Address inquiries/issues in a timely manner, offering educated answers and resolutions
- Ensure compliance is maintained at all times, ensuring changes in tax laws are implemented immediately into client services
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, juggling multiple clients at a time
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary

- 100% in-office:Â
- Standard 40 hours/week
- 60 hours/week during tax season (February 1st – April 15th) with mandatory Saturdays
- 36 hours/week over the summerÂ
- Standard 40 hours/week
- $65,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar
- Active Enrolled Agent certification or CPA licenseÂ

- 3+ years’ tax accounting/preparation experience
