Job Title: Sales Representative - Georgia Market (Local/SMB)

Location: Atlanta Metro, GA (ASD's Alpharetta office; field-based within Georgia, local travel required)

Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000

Position Summary

ASD is hiring a Sales Representative dedicated to the Georgia market to build and drive a local pipeline of small-to-medium business (SMB) technology integration and custom-engineered solution projects. This is a hunting role focused exclusively on Georgia-based prospects and clients — the ideal candidate is local, well-networked in the Atlanta/Georgia business community, and motivated to become the go-to ASD contact for SMB clients in-state. This role is the entry point of ASD's three-tier sales career path (Sales Representative → Account Executive → Senior Account Executive), with growth opportunity into broader, non-geographically-restricted enterprise accounts over time.

Territory & Market Focus

Exclusively Georgia-based small-to-medium business (SMB) accounts. This role does not carry a national or multi-state territory — focus is 100% on generating and closing local Georgia project opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new SMB relationships across the Georgia market through outbound outreach, referrals, and local networking/industry events.

  • Utilize ASD's tech stack/CRM to build a healthy, qualified pipeline of Georgia project opportunities and accurately forecast deals.

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships with Georgia-based SMB clients.

  • Work with clients to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives, and needs, and communicate those findings to relevant internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, etc.).

  • Set proper customer expectations consistent with ASD's service offerings and delivery potential.

  • Coordinate the creation, review, and hand-off of proposals and scopes of work for local projects.

  • Represent ASD at Georgia trade shows, chamber events, and networking functions to build local brand presence.

  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales quota for the Georgia SMB market.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of B2B sales experience with exceptional prospecting and closing skills.

  • Based in, or willing to be based in, the Atlanta Metro/Georgia area, with reliable transportation for local travel (minimal overnight travel expected given the in-state focus).

  • Comfortable working autonomously and self-motivated; thrives with a little healthy competition.

  • Strong, professional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • A creative, out-of-the-box thinker with good attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of SMB relationships in the Georgia market

  • Experience in one or more of ASD's core technology solution areas (access control, surveillance, structured cabling, audiovisual, wireless, etc.)

  • Commercial construction experience, including new builds, renovations, and retrofits

  • Bachelor's degree

  • BICSI RCDD certification
