Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Perform accident repairs on trailers and heavy trucks (rails, panels, roofs, posts, doors, and floors)
  • Handle collision and bodywork repairs including sanding, prepping, and refinishing
  • Conduct DOT and preventative maintenance inspections on trailers (brakes, suspension, lighting, wiring, airbags, and more)
  • Complete welding and fabrication tasks for structural and cosmetic repairs
  • Assist with painting and refinishing as needed
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient, top-quality repairs

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in  trailer
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, braking systems, suspension, and body structures
  • Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, stick, or plasma cutting a plus)
  • A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Must provide your own tools and have reliable transportation
  • Overtime flexibility when needed
