About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to join our team in Allentown, PA. The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and collaborate with school staff and families to help students achieve their academic, behavioral, and social goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs.

  • Adapt curriculum, lessons, and instructional strategies to support student learning.

  • Monitor and document student progress.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.

  • Implement appropriate classroom management and behavioral support strategies.

  • Maintain accurate student and IEP documentation.

  • Support students in achieving their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.

  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
