At Hayward Gardens Post Acute, CNAs play an essential role in providing daily hands-on care and supporting residents' individualized care plans under the direction of licensed nursing staff and supervisors.
Position Details
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Status: Part-Time
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Shift: AM
Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23.00–$24.00 per hour
Essential Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Provide compassionate and respectful hands-on care.
Assist residents with transfers, mobility, positioning, and ambulation.
Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff.
Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
Assist with meals and encourage proper hydration and nutrition.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Accurately document care provided according to facility policies.
Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.

Qualifications
Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
