Position Summary: 

The Global Senior Manager, Prestige Care Education & Capability is responsible for leading the education strategy, capability development, and technical content ecosystem for the Prestige Care portfolio, including Sebastian Professional, Nioxin, and Briogeo.

This role serves as the global education expert and business partner to Global Marketing, R&D and Local Market Education teams, ensuring education is embedded into innovation, product launches, service development, and brand growth initiatives. The position drives education effectiveness, technical mastery, and global capability building while creating a consistent premium experience across all Prestige Care brands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Education Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute the global Prestige Care education strategy aligned to brand growth ambitions.

  • Ensure education is a business driver that accelerates innovation & core adoption, service penetration, and brand engagement.

  • Establish KPI frameworks and ROI measurement systems to track education effectiveness.

  • Partner with commercial and market teams to unlock growth through education-led business initiatives.

 

Education Content & Curriculum

  • Lead development and deployment of global education curriculum and toolkits.

  • Oversee creation of digital education modules, training materials, educational content, and learning journeys.

  • Ensure consistent education standards globally while allowing for regional customization when needed.

  • Drive innovation in digital learning, virtual education, and blended capability-building formats. 

 

Innovation & Product Education

  • Partner with R&D and Global Brand Marketing teams during upstream innovation development.

  • Translate innovation pipelines into education-ready service concepts and learning tools.

  • Lead education strategy and toolkit development for global launches across Sebastian, Nioxin, and Briogeo.

  • Ensure service strategies support overall brand positioning and long-term growth plans.

 

Capability Building

  • Define and implement a Prestige Care capability framework for educators and internal teams.

  • Coach market education leaders and support capability development across regions.

  • Design programs that elevate technical expertise in styling, scalp health, texture, and premium care services.

  • Enable successful launch execution through scalable educator certification and readiness programs. 

 

Global Stakeholder & Market Management

  • Act as the primary Prestige Care education contact for Market Education Managers and key global stakeholders.

  • Drive alignment across Marketing, R&D, Creative Hair, Commercial teams, and regional education organizations.

  • Ensure Sebastian, Nioxin, and Briogeo have strong representation within global education forums and capability platforms.

  • Lead education integration initiatives across the Prestige Care portfolio

 

Artistry & Creative Leadership

  • Support creative hair direction with clear education outcomes and commercial relevance.

  • Partner with global ambassadors to develop & create education on trends and hair looks.

  • Sustain and evolve education-focused artist communities and brand expertise networks.

  • Ensure Prestige Care remains relevant to Pro Stylist Top Creators seeking technical mastery and innovation. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field 
  • 8+ years in Beauty Education (Pro haircare idustry experience required)
  • Proven track record influencing/managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong Stregic thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities    
  • Passion for professional haircare and beauty, creativity, and understanding of professional and consumer needs 
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles—pay Range: 125K-135K salary per year plus bonus. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
