Cloud Administrator 3

Position Overview

The Cloud Administrator 3 is responsible for maintaining and supporting cloud-based systems and infrastructure, coordinating with network administrators, managing cloud resources and accounts, and implementing technical solutions that improve automation, efficiency, scalability, and the overall health of the cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains smooth operation of different cloud-based systems, including coordination with network administrators.
• Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation for cloud infrastructure and tenant inventory, tunes system performance, installs system wide software and allocates mass storage space.
• Respond to large-scale events involving instantiation of virtual resources such VMs and storage.
• Fix critical software and system failures.
• Propose, drive and implement technical solutions for automation, efficiency and scalability.
• Develop/improve tools, reports, and processes to monitor the health of cloud environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Associate's degree (AS/AA) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Certifications

• IAT-2 certification required.
• One or more cloud certifications required.

Clearance 

• Active Secret clearance required.
