Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, high-quality care while promoting residents' dignity, comfort, safety, and independence
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals
Follow individualized care plans and perform assigned nursing-related duties under the direction of licensed nursing staff
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
Accurately document care provided and maintain required records
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team
Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support resident care goals
Qualifications
Current, active California CNA certification required
Previous skilled nursing or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
