Remote Mental Health Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW)

The Job

We’re looking for an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC licensed in New Mexico to provide therapy through telehealth. You’ll have a regular schedule of virtual appointments and work with clients dealing with a range of mental health and personal concerns.

The role is primarily focused on direct therapy. You’ll manage your caseload, make clinical decisions within your scope of practice, and complete the records and follow-up needed for ongoing treatment.

What You’ll Handle

  • Conduct scheduled therapy sessions with clients online
  • Complete intake appointments and gather relevant clinical information
  • Determine treatment priorities and appropriate therapeutic approaches
  • Work with clients on concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, and life changes
  • Reassess treatment when client needs or circumstances change
  • Maintain accurate session notes and clinical records
  • Follow established procedures when safety or risk concerns arise
  • Consult with other clinicians when coordination or additional input is needed
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active New Mexico LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license
  • At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience preferred
  • Experience providing individual therapy and developing treatment plans
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable providing services through a telehealth platform
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining professional standards
