As an Entry-Level Civil Engineer (EI) in our Surface Water Engineering Group, you will work alongside industry experts to develop solutions for stormwater and green stormwater infrastructure projects.

Your Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to:

  • Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analysis – Conduct studies that support sustainable water management.
  • Engineering Design & Modeling – Utilize industry-leading software to develop engineering solutions.
  • Project Documentation & Reporting – Assist in preparing technical reports and project plans.
  • Construction Cost Estimating – Support project budgeting and planning efforts.

What We Are Looking For

  • Academic Excellence – Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or within one semester of graduation) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Certification & Experience – Engineer Intern (EI) certification is required; 0-4 years of experience in surface water hydrology and hydraulics is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency – Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, and ArcGIS is highly desirable.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset – A self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to innovate.
  • Commitment to Professional Growth – A proactive learner who welcomes feedback and continuously seeks improvement.
