Schedule: Monday–Fridays; Start time is 3:00 PM (Mid-March-September 1st) and 2:00 PM September-Mid-March, with a varying end time. Occasionally changes to work schedule may occur due to production or training needs.

Wage: $20.90

SUMMARY

Batching Operator 1 will be responsible for operating assigned machines that mix products, ensuring products meet all recipe requirements, quality and safety standards. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Learn and follow MGK HACCP and SQF programs.
  • Learn and follow all Food Safety procedures.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment. 
  • Set up, assemble, disassemble, and sanitize all specified equipment, per standard operating procedures.
  • Measure and weight required ingredients per specified recipe.
  • Meticulously follow all recipe instructions and standard procedures to ensure recipe accuracy and quality.
  • Safely and accurately operate all assigned machines as per standard operating procedures. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 
  • Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.
