Job DetailsJob Location: DXP - Albany, NY 12205Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 HourlyWe are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, maintaining mileage records, planning routes, and delivering items, including postage checks and mail. The role requires collaboration with USPS employees, accurate record-keeping, and assisting with warehouse tasks when needed. Candidates must have experience operating a 26’ box truck and forklift, strong navigation skills, and excellent time management. A positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work independently are essential.   Supervisory Responsibilities: None   Schedule: On-site, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:15pm   Duties/Responsibilities: Inspect vehicles and add fluids/oils as needed; report major service issues to supervisor. Maintain daily mileage records. Complete deliveries professionally and courteously. Plan efficient delivery routes considering traffic and distance. Deliver postage checks and pick up stamps from USPS. Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle records. Work with USPS employees for postal verification of mail. Complete USPS forms for mail delivery. Assist with general warehouse duties when not driving. Safely operate a Fork Lift Use navigation tools (GPS, apps, maps) to plan routes. Follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Stay professional and courteous with customers at all times. Strong communication skills, including active listening. Enthusiastic, positive attitude. Excellent time management and punctuality. Strong organizational skills.   Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver’s License   Physical Requirements:  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
