If you are ready to join a company that truly cares about its employees, our members, and our community then you have come to the right place!

The Opportunity

Broadview is launching its first dedicated AI function.

Your mandate is direct: find the places where our people spend hours of work that a machine should be doing, and automate it quickly, visibly, with accountability, and in partnership with the teams who own the work. You are the bridge between what the business needs and what AI can credibly deliver today.

This is not a research role nor a slide-deck role. Within your first quarter, Broadview will notice that their day got measurably better due to your work, and business units should be able to tell you why your work positively impacted them.

What You Will Own

  • Process discovery with numbers. Embed within the following business units: mortgage, consumer lending, deposit operations, contact center, back office, finance, branches, and others and build a ranked inventory of automation opportunities with baseline cycle times, volumes, and error rates.

  • Intelligent document processing. Design and deliver IDP solutions for high-volume document workflows.

  • Solution architecture and the build-versus-configure call. For every opportunity, make the judgment: configure on an existing platform, automate in Workato, apply an LLM, or hand off to the AI Full-Stack Engineer for an in house build. Document the reasoning and the expected return.

  • Hands-on automation delivery. Build and orchestrate in Workato multi-system workflows, exception paths, human approval steps, and API routing. You are an architect who ships, not one who diagrams and delegates.

  • Measurement discipline. Before-and-after cycle time, volume processed, exception and error rates, and hours returned to staff. Every automation carries a measurement plan before it goes live and a reported result after. ROIs need to be tightly coupled to promoted workflows and tracked for assurance of

  • Adoption and change management. Train the people whose work changes, write the runbooks, and stay with each solution through adoption.

  • Controls navigation. In partnership with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit, bring automations through model risk, third-party risk, fair lending, and BSA/AML review— without losing a quarter to it.

  • Partnership, not displacement. Work alongside the existing data and analytics team and business unit staff. This function adds net-new capability; it does not replace anyone's role.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days. Automation opportunity inventory across at least four business units, ranked by effort and impact, with baseline metrics captured rather than estimated.

  • First 90 days. Solutions deployed, IDP document review time reduced substantially against baseline, with at least two additional back-office workflows automated end to end and measured results in hand for executive and board reporting.

  • First year. A running automation pipeline with quantified hours returned to the organization, a reusable pattern library, and business unit leaders bringing you candidates unprompted, rather than being chased.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Data Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or Machine Learning (Artificial Intelligence).

  • 6+ years in solution architecture, business process automation, intelligent automation, or automation-focused consulting, with a portfolio of delivered automations and the metrics to prove their impact.

  • Deep hands-on experience with an enterprise iPaaS or automation platform. Workato strongly preferred; MuleSoft, Boomi, Power Automate, or UiPath acceptable where the depth is transferable.

  • Intelligent document processing experience at real volume: classification, extraction, validation, confidence thresholds, and exception handling.

  • Practical LLM fluency. You can design and iterate prompts, structure outputs, chain steps into a workflow, and speak honestly about what these models should and should not be trusted to do unattended.

  • Enough technical depth to be credible with engineers: REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication patterns, SQL, and scripting in Python or JavaScript.

  • Genuine consultative skill. You will spend as much time in operations meetings as in a build tool, earning trust from people who are quietly worried that automation means their job.

  • Experience with Databricks, Anthropic, and AWS are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services experience, particularly mortgage, consumer lending, deposit operations, or payments.

  • Experience navigating model risk management, third-party risk, or regulatory examination inside a regulated institution.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable formal process improvement training.

  • Experience automating on top of a core banking or loan origination platform.

  • Workato certification, or equivalent platform credential.

How This Role Differs From the Senior AI Full-Stack Engineer

We are hiring both roles, and candidates should know which one they want. The Architect eliminates friction in what already exists: process discovery, document automation, and integration-led solutions on platforms we own. The Engineer builds what does not exist: custom applications, agentic systems, and the code beneath them. These two roles will, however, work closely together and co-develop complex solutions. The Architect's instinct is “configure it and prove the value before anyone writes code.” The Engineer's is “build it properly.” If your satisfaction comes from watching a four-hour process become a four-minute one, this is the role you want.
