As the HR Generalist II, you will be responsible for support of the HR function reporting into the HR Director. This role will be responsible for employee relations, projects/initiatives, performance management, assisting the Learning & Development team with initiatives, as well as day-to-day HR duties. The ideal person will have interest and ambition in growing and learning about all aspects of Human Resources and enjoys proactively identifying and solving issues when they arise. Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as an advisor and consultant in almost every facet of the Employee Life Cycle, from Onboarding to Career Development to Employee Relations, LOA and Off-boarding.
- Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with management to develop HR solutions that will ultimately improve business results through lowering turnover, increasing retention, developing high-performing coworkers, etc.
- Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives and productivity
- Leverage data to make decisions to support business objectives while identifying gaps, trends, and implementing process improvements
- Facilitate resolution of workplace concerns, assist with developing and interpreting policy, and provide consultation and recommendations as it relates to Employee Relations issues.
- Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Own the company communications for the HR department through the various methods provided by the company. e.- intranet and company memos
- Accountable for multiple HR projects from beginning to end and for using efficient project management methodologies and tools, as appropriate
- Assist in the administration of employee onboarding, changes, and terminations
- Partner with Learning and Development team to facilitate workshops and training and development that will increase associate knowledge and skill development in conjunction with the Learning and Development team.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (or equivalent experience),
- At least 3 years of human resource generalist experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
Work Location: This employee will office at one of the Guaranty Bank & Trust locations listed below. Candidates must reside within a 30-minute commute of either of the two locations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
