JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Firearms Service Manager leads and directs all Gunsmithing and Repair Service operations to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality firearms service. This role ensures exceptional customer experiences while aligning service operations with Beretta’s business objectives, quality standards, and brand reputation. The Manager serves as a key advocate for Beretta customers and stakeholders, driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Â
- Lead and oversee all Gunsmithing and firearms service operations, ensuring compliance with corporate, legal, and quality requirements
- Monitor service performance metrics and proactively implement corrective actions to meet or exceed service objectives
- Serve as the primary Customer Service Advocate, resolving escalated issues between customers and Beretta USA
- Design, develop, and maintain an efficient service structure that supports national service objectives
- Establish and manage oversight of outsourced service centers to ensure consistent service quality and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all internal and external service personnel are properly trained, certified, and equipped to perform service functions effectively
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized service procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support product quality, customer satisfaction, and business goals
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Hands-on leadership role within a firearms repair and service center environment
- Travel up to 25% for shoots, demonstrations, training, and service center visits
- Manual dexterity required for detailed inspection and repair work
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds (firearms, equipment, and materials)
- Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of firearms service procedures and repair operations
- Proficiency with machinery, tools, and hand tools
- Strong communication and training skills, including the effective use of modern communication technologies
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required
- Master Gunsmith Certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a customer service, repair, or technical service organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
