BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a highly experienced and skilled Senior Consultant - Accounting to join our team, specializing in accounting and management consulting for Department of Defense (DoD) entities. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in reviewing financial systems, audit response, and remediation, backed by a solid educational foundation in accounting, finance, or business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial system data for Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  

• Analyze and manage data within the Accountable Property System of Record (DPAS) or similar systems.
  

• Provide expert audit response and remediation in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
  

• Collaborate effectively with Department of Defense entities, including the Department of the Navy (DON), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Naval Special Warfare (NSW), and others.
  

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite products to create, analyze, and present data and reports.
  

Qualifications:

• Have minimum of 7 years offull-time experience within the last 10 years in accounting/managementconsulting with DOD entities (DON, USSOCOM, NSW).
  
• This experience includesreviewing financial system data for Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), (orsimilar ERP), and Accountable Property System of Record(DPAS), (or similar), and proficiency with Microsoft OfficeSuite products. 
  
• 7 years’ experience in auditresponse and remediation in accordance with Generally Accepted AccountingPrinciples (GAAP) or Statements of Federal FinancialAccounting Standards (SFFAS). 
  
• Bachelor’s degree inaccounting, finance, or business from an accredited United States college oruniversity
