Sovereign Consulting Inc., an award-winning environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a GIT / Geologist / Environmental Scientist with 0 to 5 years of experience for the Denville, NJ Office.

Responsibilities:

Groundwater, soil, surface water, and vapor intrusion sampling

Monitoring well, soil boring and log preparation

Preparation of analytical data tables

Report preparation

Proposal preparation

Ability to work individually and in a team environment

Requirements:

0-5 years of experience with a geology or environmental science background
Experience with NJDEP regulations, guidance documents, and field stamping procedures
OSHA 40-hourHAZWOPER Certification, current 8-hour refresher and/or Supervisor Certification a plus
Demonstrated technical writing skills
Clean Driving Record
Occasional Overnight Travel
Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field

Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
